Congratulations on the big century!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite quilt patterns are those that don't show all my mismatched, cobbled together seams!
I've managed to do something on Facebook, but I am not sure you will be able to see it as you aren't 'my friend', but my friends will see it!! Hope that counts!

ReplyDeleteI think my all time favorite pattern is flying geese. The individual units are can be arranged into so many variations, that you could make an entire quilt of flying geese blocks and block would be exactly the same.
Bright fabrics! I don't know if I have a favorite pattern but I am fond of Sunbonnet Sue and other applique. (even if I don't do them often)

ReplyDeleteCongrats on the big 100! Hhhhmmm.....I think my favorite quilt pattern is a scrappy double Irish chain. Since these are my favorite colors (especially the orange), I'm excited to have the opportunity to win them. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI can't say that I have a favorite quilt pattern, but I sure save a lot of them in my computer! Seriously, most of the quilts I've made are not traditional quilts, but wall hangings. The most cherished quilt is one I made for my niece 18 years ago. It was a baby quilt appliqued with 12 baby animals. It was my first attempt at applique and hand quilting. I was/am extremely proud of that quilt. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite quilt pattern right now is Crushed Diamonds by Freckled Whimsy.
ReplyDeleteThose colors are bee-utimous! My favorite pattern is probably an Irish Chain, although I`m lovin Dresdens lately.

I don't really have a favorite quilt pattern. In fact I have only used a pattern once. I usually come up with my own ideas adapted from all the cool ideas out there. I love that quilting is such a flexible creative outlet. I think I could love any quilt pattern as long as I was able to use fabric I loved.
ReplyDeleteGreat colors. My favorite pattern would have to the the 54/40 (Triangle in a Square - Star). lovieb @ simplynet.net
ReplyDeleteI don't really have a favorite quilt pattern. I like to make 'scenic' blocks and quilts. But I really do love an Irish Chain quilt...gonna have to make one someday.
ReplyDeleteThe colors of those fabrics would really add some 'sparkle' to my fabric stash! Thanks for the chance at 'em.
I love the Bear Paw pattern. Thanks for the giveaway chance!

Beautiful colors! I'm loving orange right now. I don't really have a favorite pattern, because I like to try something different each time. I want to do a square in square pattern to use some solids or tone on tone fabrics.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 100 posts!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite pattern is usually my current one!
At the moment I'm doing Aneela Hoey's Girl on a Tree Swing

ReplyDeleteMy most favorite quilt pattern I've ever seen is Mary Ann Keathley's Hidden Circles Quilt. I actually made ONE (modified) block of that quilt & some day, when I've found the perfect fabrics, I will make that quilt.
ReplyDeleteAs far as my favorite pattern to make, I don't really have one. I do like Crazy Quilt blocks, but there's not really much of a "pattern" to those :)

My favorite quilt "pattern" is for a crazy quilt...I like the idea of using up things you have and just putting it together to end up with something beautiful and useful in the end. my email address is: ginariffel@charter.net
ReplyDeleteThere's so many to choose from! I think my favorite at this moment is the Log Cabin. Thanks for the give away!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite block is four patch and I like most quilts that incorporate a variation of that style of block. One of my favorite quilts that I've made is an old-fashioned string block in turquoises. Quilts on my list to make are: Anita's arrowhead block (Anita Grossman Solomon), regular log cabin, twisting turning twenty, and what I call an around the block flying geese. I've visited your blog before and like it. Keep up the good work! alternate email mlwright29 (at) hotmail (dot) com

ReplyDeleteRebecca thank you for the chance to win. This is my favorite colorway. My favorite pattern is cathedral windows. A great pattern to use up scraps.
ReplyDeleteI make alot of charity quilts so my favorite pattern is stacked coins - I use charms or jelly rolls & it goes together quick yet lots of variety. those sunset FQ's would make lovely coins too! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI included your giveaway in my blog today!
ReplyDeletehttp://straystitches1.blogspot.com/2010/11/shout-your-thanks.html
What beautiful fabric! As for my favorite pattern...I'm not usually a pattern-user. I've drawn out a few myself (pictures made with 2.5" squares) but I have done one pattern more than any other individual one - I've done two different Disappearing 9-Patch quilts in the last year. It's a fun block and can become so many patterns in a quilt, plus it's a GREAT scrap-buster!
ReplyDeleteI am not much of a pattern follower, BUT I do have some favorite blocks - baskets and stars. I love traditional blocks but done up in a scrappy or wonky way. If I win, I'll be sure to show you just what I mean with those wonderful fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI followed your blog, but I am not sure what my favorite quilt pattern is, I think the one I use most is "Bright Hopes" it's from the Fons and Porter Quilter's Complete Guide. I love it's versatility and use it a lot for scrap quilts that I donate to charity. I can just cut my scraps into 2 1/2" squares and 2 1/2 x 4 1/2" rectangles and mindlessly sew until I have bunches.
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower! And that's a beautiful set of fat quarters.
ReplyDeleteAs for my favorite pattern, hmmm... I've got a sketch of the Tennessee Waltz with the 54-40 block that I'll be making soon. It's a very cool looking pattern.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pattern is Cobblestone Lane by Sherri Falls of This & That. I haven't finished it yet....someday.
ReplyDeleteBillie

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful giveaway! The fabrics are breath taking!!! Thanks so much for a chance to have these beauties to look at fondle and create with. (yes, my name is Nancy and I am a fabric fondler *wink*) My favorite quilt pattern has to be Samplers! I love making quilts with lots of different blocks but using coordinating fabrics and fabric families and seeing how the colors and textures play so well together. I also love the scrappy sampler quilts but, those that coordinate (much like the fabric in your giveaway) are my favorites. Congratulations on your 100th blog post! Wow, I really need to start a blog now that I have my new computer. Maybe after our small remodel job is finished I'll try it. Thanks again and good luck to everyone!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 100 posts! My favorite quilt pattern-I guess I have two-log cabin and 9 patch...I've certainly made a lot of quilts using them.

ReplyDeleteLike everyone else, it is so hard to have a favorite. I really like making string quilts lately and there are so many variations with them. Basic 9 patches are great too set with alternate blocks or sliced...so many ways with them too.
ReplyDeleteI like the disappearing nine patch as the variations seem endless.
